1. About LodgeWise
LodgeWise is a lodge-management application built for Masonic lodges and their members. It is operated for the benefit of the participating lodge; the lodge — not LodgeWise — is the controller of member data on its tenant.
2. What we store
LodgeWise stores the data necessary to run a lodge: the member roster (names, contact information, degree, member-since date), dues records (status, amount, paid date), event attendance records, calendar events, meeting minutes, and broadcast messages.
LodgeWise does not store ritual content, ballot tallies, the private internals of subordinate committees, or any record that would be inappropriate to surface outside the tyled communication.
3. How we use it
Member data is used only to operate the lodge's instance of the app — to send event reminders, render the roster, track dues and attendance, and deliver broadcasts to recipients chosen by an officer. LodgeWise does not sell, lease, or trade member data, and does not share it with third parties for advertising or analytics.
4. Who can see it
Roster contact details are visible to fellow members of the same lodge. Sensitive fields (phone, notes) are visible to officers and administrators only. Cross-lodge visibility is never enabled by default.
5. Security
LodgeWise authenticates members through a one-time email code or, where enabled, a third-party identity provider. Tenant data is isolated per lodge in a dedicated database and is transmitted over TLS.
6. Data retention and deletion
Records are retained for as long as the member is on the lodge's active roster. Members who demit, resign, or are suspended remain on the roster in an archived state so the lodge can produce the Grand Lodge annual return. Members may request deletion of their account by contacting the lodge Secretary or by emailing privacy@lodgewise.app.
